Vintage metal « Royal Budapest » scale, Hungary, 1920’s

Used in a grocery shop or a department store from the 1920’s in Hungary, this massive 40 kg scale is something we had never seen at Museum Concept. This is an extremely original design piece with an exceptional red colour, an enigmatic mirror and a lovely “Royal Budapest” inscription in the upper part. It still works but not so accurate though! Displayed on a console, it’s going to make an instant impact! That’s the secret of old items with a modern soul.
